Report overpayments to your payroll administrator. Generally, an adjustment in the amount of the overpayment will be deducted from your next pay; in rare cases an immediate return is requested.

if i were you i would take my check stub to my supervisor or hr rep and call their attention to it. if you keep the money and they catch it later, they are liable to take it back out of your next paycheck. its better to be honest.

The honest and moral thing to do would to bring this to their attention. They will be pleased you are honest and it could really help your career.

Maybe there is a reason and maybe not. In either case let the employer know that a mistake was made in your pay. Honest is the best policy and maybe he is trying to see how honest you really are.
