It's really hard to vapor lock a mustang 3. 8 litre if its fuel injected. However, if it is carburated you must do two things - isolate the heat from the fuel line (insulate it) and figure out the cause for the extreme heat - usually a plugged catalytic converter. JEG's will have fuel line insulation.

You're going to need a Vapor Lock kit, which can be purchased at any local auto shop. Check your usual manual to select the correct brand.

Vapor lock is usually caused by excessive fuel temperature. Try re-routing lines as well as insulating them and see if that helps.

You do not do anything about it, it is best thing you leave the vapor lock on a Mustang 3.8 alone because it might clog and the vapor might not be able to escape and it might damage your car and well no one wants that, I know I don't.
