Some wild animals, such as deer are herbivores, eating only plant products. Others, such as bears, are omnivores, eating both meat and plant products. Others, like raccoons, can best be described as scavangers, and will even eat human garbage.

Well, that depends on what the animal is. Some eat a variety of plants, berries, nuts, and even grass. Others eat fish. Still others eat other animals. For example, a bear eats salmon and berries, and a ground squirrel eats nuts and berries it finds, and others eat what they can gather too.
