Owls eat small animals such as mice, moles, squirrels, rabbits, and rats. They also can eat insects, worms, lizards, frogs, and spiders. Owls swallow their prey whole and anything they cannot digest comes out in the form of pellets. These often contain bones or possibly fur.

Most owls eat rodents or other small mammals. Large owls can eat other birds, while very small owls, like the Elf owl or the Burrowing owl eat insects!

Owl eat bugs , small lizards and even some mice. Barn owls eat a lot of rats and other small rodents that live in the barn. I saw an owl who lives in the woods behind my house attack a bird. Guess they eat small birds as well. Most eat fogs and lizards.
