You need to find out the requirements to get a business license, find out whether you need a chauffeur's license and what kind of truck to get. You will need to find out insurance requirements, whether you will need a special policy to have yourself bonded. It would also helpt to have experience in towing vehicles.

Well first to start any business you need to have a large sum of investment money standing by. Starting a business is not a cheap process. You need to decide if you want to open a franchise or start an entirely new business. The latter being the much more difficult option.

If it is going to start out as a small business you don't need much. All you need is a towing truck and customers. Around where I live a family has towing and garbage moving business and all they did was post ads in the paper. If you want to make a bigger business you'll have it get a license first.
