The screens are very fragile and you need special cleaning devices and liquids to clean the screen. Don't leave it on a paused screen for too long either.

Not much that you should already know if you've owned a television before. It's hardly a space age instrument and the technology hardly needs to be understood to enjoy the features. Avoid pressing on the screen excessively, unlike glass screen televisions, this can damage a plasma screen. The price is hardly a concern any more either.
