Cherry seeds should be dry and clean and should have been aired out for at least 3 days before planting. Use a good potting starter and keep a moist paper towel on top until sprouted. Once sprouted, plant 4 inches apart until the first leaves appear then you can transplant.

Clean residue from seed then place seed in moist paper towels. Place in plastic bag keeping moist, and put in refrigerator for approximately 10 weeks. Plant about 2" deep.

Cherry seeds can be very hard to get growing. So when you plant cherry sands make sure you plant the seeds during the autumn season has it takes several seasons to start growing. First dig a hole then thorw several seeds in hole cover back up with dirt and water.

It will no do to simply soak cherry seeds and expect a tree to start growing. Most Cherry varieties require several weeks to months of cold. To 'winterize' the seeds, simply store them in a freezer. After this process they also need several months of warm, which can be accomplished in a greenhouse or your house.
