First of all, remember that a marriage is a lot of work and that the relationship will evolve over time. If you have children, consider leaving them with a trusted family member and take a kid free trip. Marriage isn't all "fireworks" and settles down into "comfortable".

If you are trying to reconnect in your marriage then you should have a sit down talk at the table with an adult conversation. Both read the Family and relationships book by Dr. Phil, he always has good advise. Make goals together, write everything down, maybe try going on a date together for some alone time.

Whenever there is a disconnection between couples within a marriage, there are many factors that may play into it. It is possible that one spouse may have more "time on their hands" than another spouse and because of that, they both lose valuable time to spend together.. To resolve this, try to "make time" to spend together. Effort pays off.

The best thing to do would be to see a marriage councelor that specializes in rebuilding marriages. You should also set some time to talk alone and enjoy each other's company.
