An ergonomic work space includes a chair designed to fit the contours of your back and neck. Also the keyboard is slightly elevated, usually with a pad to provide optimum wrist support.

To have an ergonomic work space for an office, you will need: 1. An ergonomically adjustable chair 2. An adjustable computer screen or monitor risers 3. Mouse pad for your mouse 4. Wrist rest for your keyboard or mouse or both 5. Glare screen for monitor if it is not already glare-free

make sure that the table and monitor (assuming you will be working on a computer) is the right height and that you have a really comfortable chair. those two things will do most of what you need for an ergonomic space.

I feel that the most effective item for an ergonomic work space is a foot rest. By lifting your feet it releases pressure from the lower back. This can be a simple piece of foam. They also make ergonomic pieces for retail as well. The most popular is an ergonomic keyboard.
