You need to try and find the cause of the fungus. It may be due to over watering, a shamrock holly does not need much added moisture. Try to remove the damaged areas and wipe over the leaves with a very diluted washing up liquid, this will help to remove mildew.

The best cure is a systemic fungicide, there a various brands available. Some organic methods for controlling this fungus involve baking soda, however this method may take far longer to work and applications will have to be made for more often then a systemic fungucide, which will also give longer lasting protection.

Get a fungicide to control the current problem. You need to find out the reason for the excess moisture that is causing the fungus. Could be lack of drainage, overwatering, or too much shade.

The most effective treatment is a systemic fungicide, various brands are sold at home and garden centers. There are some organic methods of control involving baking soda, however these methods take longer to work and require more frequent application. Systemic fungicides penetrate the entire vascular system of the plant, providing longer lasting protection.

To rid or control the fungus simply get a germicide to kill it. Then find out why there is excess moisture and figure out how to control it. Perhaps it is planted in too moist an area.

The best thing for fungus is to apply a commercial anti-fungal spray. There are several of these available and should do the trick. Just follow the application instructions.

Just let the leaves turn yellow and fall off by themselves and also do not forget to use a fertiliser that has low nitrogen content.

If your holly has fungus you will need to treat it with a fungicide. People use daconil and it works great. Any leaves that are damaged will fall off on their own so you can let them go naturally. The leaves that have fallen off will be replaced in the spring.
