If your veterinarian diagnosed a pinched nerve, he is your best source of information regarding treatment. The location and causes are important factors in the plan. Given the potential for pain, do not proceed without professional advice.

A vet can manipulate the dog so that the nerves are no longer pinched and also pain medication can help with the pain.

Don't let the dog exert a lot of force on the area and just relax. You might want to see a vet for some muscle relaxers.

I would massage your dog carefully, and also visit a vet and see what needs to be done. This can be very painful so seeing a massage specialist might even help if you can afford it.

A canine pinched nerve is a tough subject. Sometimes they can be resolved on their own, but more than likely it will need surgery to correct. There are muscle relaxants that can be given to pets that are subscribed by vets, or just pain management meds are an option too.

Most pinched nerves in dogs center in neck or spinal region although other spots can become affected. Cage rest is recommended and aspirin or other otc pain relievers will help. If pain continues, take to vet. Chiropractor and acupuncture are recommended for severe cases. Helping to prevent this condition includes keeping your dog's weight intact.

You should go to your vet... Any vet can help your dog with a pinched nerve. What YOU can do is just let your dog relax. If you are going to walk it, walk it lightly, not too rough. Massage your dog gently, and call a vet to see what needs to be done.

Your veterinarian should be able to prescribe muscle relaxers and possibly steroids. Give your dog an animal-friendly pain killer (aspirin is fine). There is not much you can do besides medicate the dog to keep him comfortable until the injury goes away. I know your dog is in a lot of pain, but time will heal it! Keep loving him!

I think you should call a vet. My neighbors' dogs all had one and they called the vet and they figured it out. Also, maybe look it up online because there may be an answer.
