What did I get yellow blisters after too much sun?

You have probably developed sun sensitivity, indicating an allergic, or photosensitive, reaction. Your skin is reacting to exposure to the sun's rays.

The most likely explanation is that you sustained a sunburn bad enough to blister, and then the blisters became infected. The yellow tinge is most likely from infected pus/liquid gathering in the blisters.

The blisters occur due to the skin suffering an injury (burning). The epidermis essentially dies, and the inflammation below it causes serous fluid to leak out of the cells. If there is no break in skin and no where for the fluid to be released, it makes blister rise.

Long time exposure to sun rays, photosensivity of individual person can cause skin reaction and yellow blisters. To prevent it stay away from strong sun light.
