The trailblazer can die. Here are a few scenerios: Lack of fuel, engine jumped timing, and the water pump overheats can cause stalling.

A bad alternator, it will do it every time. Alternators conduct current which keeps your engine operating. Another reason could be a fuel pump problem. No fuel to the engine will cause a complete shut down as well. You could have gunk in your lines, I suggest having your lines cleaned. And alternator checked.

Many things can cause the vehicle to stop running. Heat soaked crank position sensor. Failing fuel pump. Failing fuel pump relay. Loose connection from the ignition to the secondary ignition system. Failing camshaft position sensors. Failing mass air flow sensor. Failing ECU, the list goes on. I recommend diagnosis.

It could be an electrical issue regarding the battery so that is the first thing to check. Also, gasoline is also a necessity for a vehicle to run properly,so make sure that the tank is full. It would also be wise to get the gas gauge checked out due to the possibility of false readings.

This could be caused by a number of things. You could have a bad battery, bad censors, wires may be loose, or maybe you just ran out of gas!

A failing alternator, starter or fuel pump could be causing this malfunction. Starters and alternators are likely to cause not start or stay running for more than few seconds.

If it takes quite a while to start up it could be the fuel pump possibly. Or have you had a battery load test it could be that as well.
