What could cause my lights to flicker with a partial loss of power?

I seem to be having an electrical condition.

Because your cable wire might have been deteriorated or your cable might be loosen from the main line. The sufficiant quantity of current might not flow through your cable to your light

A burn at any point of wires connected to the light or the switch contact which has contacts having some erosion will lead to dripping resulting in flickering of lights

Either your electric wiring is very old or there is some loose contact or you have to check your fuse wire whether it is loose. If your lights are tube lights, the chalk or starter may have a problem. You switch off all the supply lines and see whether the meter is working still. Better take help of an electrician.
