What could cause brown spots on the bottom of my feet?

I have brown spots on the bottom of my feet.

These spots can be caused by many things such as sun exposure, pregnancy or just aging. If they worry you, see your doctor.

The brown spots on the bottom of your feet could just be from walking bare foot around outside and it could just be stained. Another reason it could be brown is from a bruise.

Brown spots on the sole of feet can occure due to lichen planus, keratoderma, plantar warts, planter nevi or freckels, fungal or bacterial infection, skin cancer etc. It can occure also due to tight fitting shoes which results in poor blood circulation.

Planter warts, on the bottom of feet can cause brown spots. Syphilis can also cause reddish brown spots, below feet. Other common causes are bacterial and fungal infections. Ill fitting shoes can cause irregular blood circulation in feet which can result in darkening of the skin below feet. Tight shoes may cause corns or hard and dark spots below feet.
