Excessive sneezing, nose blowing or allergies cause increased attention to the nose. All of this can cause a bit of a breakdown in the skin. When this happens a scab will eventually form as this area attempts to heal, which will feel like a lump. Hope this helps.

A lump in your nose should be examined by a doctor. Their is so many different reasons for one. It could be nothing, and then again it could be something much more serious. Only a doctor can say for sure what it is and give you the proper treatment for it.

This could be caused by an ingrown hair or possibly a clogged pore. It could also be a polyp, which would need to be evaluated by a doctor. An enlarged vessel on the nasal septum could be a possibility. In rare instances this could represent a benign or maliginant growth or tumor.
