What could be wrong if my rabbit hasn't pooped or eaten all day?

My bunny is lethargic, constipated, and will not eat. What could be wrong?

My rabbit went thru this and almost died. Please take her to vet ASAP. Sounds like GI Stasis. Actually it could be fur ball, something ingested such as carpet. Causes blockage. If rabbit stops eating and has small or no fecal pellets go to emergency vet to save her.

These symptoms could be some kind of intestinal blockage/stasis, a tumour, or maybe not eating out of pain. This is very serious and could be fatal if not treated promptly. Get your bunny to an emergency clinic or qualified exotics vet ASAP if you want to save it's life.

It sounds like your rabbit is really sick and needs to see a vet. It could be anything from worms to an infection. Is he taking in any water? Feverish? Please call your local vet.

A thought as to what could be causing this constipation , is intestinal worms. Continue to monitor his food and water intake, and his waste matter very carefully. Or seek for a vets opinion.

I've seen this problem before. Your rabbit is probably suffering from a lack of fiber. The solution is actually quite simple: you can either buy some timothy hay for the little bunny to eat on a regular basis or even give it paper or tissue to eat.

the only one of these responses worth considering is the first- immediate attention of a vet that treats exotics
