Check the fuse for the wipers first. Next make sure the wiring is ok. If thats ok then the wiper motor may have quit working and needs to be replaced.

More than likely this is caused by the windshield wiper switch going bad. Have a either check it out or replace it yourself. If that's not the problem then it could be that your wiper motor is bad. It would be a good idea to get a repair manual for your car if you plan on replacing any items yourself.

This typically is the fault of a bad wiper switch, located in the steering column or dashboard, or a bad wiper motor, which is located on the firewall on the driver side of the car. Other things to look for is a blown fuse, a bad relay, or very loose nuts on the wiper arms.

Pull off the fuse panel and look at the diagram and locate the fuse for the windshield wipers. See if the fuse is blown. If it is then you may have a short in the wiring. Try replacing the fuse with a new buses fuse.
