What could be wrong if my cat's whole body is swollen?

Could she be allergic to something?

Yes, she could be allergic to something or she could have some kind of infection. A quick blood workup at the vet office could determine the source of the swelling. Best of luck with your kitty.

Several things could be wrong with your cat, but it sounds like she needs to see a vet ASAP! The problem could be as simple as an allergic reaction to something she ate or as serious as a blocked intestine. Your vet will be able to examine your cat, perform some tests and determine what is causing the swelling.

There could very likley be a problem with your cat. A swollen body can indicate that the cat has tumors and or close to death. Another possibility is that your cat is simply pregnant. Take your cat to the vet to get a check up.

Try to remember anything new the cat might have come in contact with. Remove it, if that cat gets better, there's your answer.

an allergic reaction would be my first guess, has the cat been around anything new or unusual recently? have you tried taking the cat to the vet for a check up?
