What could be wrong if I had two periods two weeks apart?

Your body could have skipped ovulation. This can happen under stress or if you have recently been low in your nutritional intake. Also, sometimes your body spaces out the time of its' period. You could also be pregnant.

This is generally a sign that you are not ovulating properly. I would see an gynocologist who can run tests to verify that this is the problem.

Many things can cause women to have two periods within two weeks apart. One of which is stress, sickness and the second or first period could have been spotting or could have been caused by injury from intercourse. If you continue to have periods like this you should consult with your doctor.

There are probably many things that could cause it one cause could possibly be endometriosis. Which is the shedding of your uterin lining.
