Check your "tint" control. It may have been turned up inadvertently and is causing the picture to look green (check your manual to adjust tint). Then, you can check if magnets are close to the TV (ie. speakers), if so move them. Also check your cables used to connect to the TV. Try a known working video cable if possible.

its those damn hippies. they are taking over the world. but honestly, i am guessing that somebody accidentally put a magnet up against the computer screen. either that or the picture/color settings are turned way up and somebody is playing a not so funny prank on you. try those and you should be in good shape

This has happened to me once before, only my television set turned purple instead of green. This might mean the TV is old and its time for a new one.

The cause seems to typically be when a form of magnet was placed closely to the television screen. This has happened to me once. Or, either the television may just be wearing away depending on age.

If you have a CRT (picture tube) TV, the blue and red electron guns may not be functioning. This leaves only the green gun, which give a green tint

This could basically be because of a tint that appears. What you need to do is go set your color graphics and play around with the controls.

You can try getting a deguassing coil (magnet) that will fix the imbalance. or it could just be a mess up in the MENU under the contrast or something, mess with that first.

Sometime's having speakers too close to the TV can magnitize the screen.
