It could be a migraine, or problem with a blood vessel. Best to see your doctor as it could denote something serious. Better safe than sorry.

See your doctor and have a CT or MRI immediately. It could just be cluster headaches or migraines. It could also be something more serious, from a tumor or an embolism, or various other serious injuries. If you have hit your head, it could be signs of a concussion. Do not hesitate to consult your doctor about ANY head illness.
