Certain activities, overuse or an injury can cause a pain in the groin area. Injuries from sports, an accident or from simply being overly active can cause you to pull a muscle, tendon or ligament. However, if you have not had an injury, there could be a serious health condition.

One could be sexual abuse, but that would usually be known by the woman obviously. There could be a tumor of some kind in the groin area. There could be some type of infection. This would usually be accompanied by a fever. It is best to get yourself to a doctor and get a real diagnosis!

There could be a lot of different reasons for this pain. One could be normal cramps that women get at that time of the month. It could be just a plulled mucle. See a doctor if it persists.

There are several causes of groin pain. Some include: pulled muscles, hernia, hip fracture, kidney stones, tubal pregnancy, and fallopian cysts. You should go to your OB/GYN to rule out the major causes of your pain. Mine was kidney stones.

A pulled abdominal or groin muscle is probably the reason for this (along with a pulled or bruised this muscle)
