High pulses can result from physical, chemical or psychological imbalances. I will suggest you look at chemical imbalances or psychological imbalances, and these are related because stress, anxiety and a host of factors trigger chemical reactions and these reactions trigger the brain which in essence will release chemicals that will in turn increase your pulse rate.

The things that you eat and drink that go into your body can affect your body in a way that you don't understand. Taking care of yourself is important.

There are many things that can cause a high pulse. From something as simple as your stress levels raising to infection, heart problems and even drug withdrawal. If you tend to have a lot of stress then its not a huge deal, just try to find some way to relax. Any other reason probably needs to be checked out.

Tachycardia is usually caused by the body's need for more oxygen. It could mean that there are breathing problems or circulation problems where the brain is not receiving enough oxygen.
