What could be causing my Dodge truck to be stalling while in reverse?

It's probably a problem with your torque converter. You may need to replace the torque converter or torque converter clutch.

When I car stalls in reverse, it usually means a transmission solenoid is defective. If that's not the problem, then it is most likely transmission-related. There is a slight chance it could be an electrical problem.

Your dodge truck could be stalling in reverse if your truck is idleing to low.check your idle speed and you may need to ajust it to the right setting. good luck.

check the onboard computer. also have a mechanic check the transmission and some of its sensors. it could be a sensor.
