What could be causing an Olds 88 front left wheel squeaking?

More than likely that squeaking is caused by something scraping against the rotor as you drive. It could be something in the brake system like a dust sheild or something or you might have some debris stuck in there.

Maybe a dry wheel bearing, brake pads that being worn,new pads,dry shock absorber mount, or else lose wheel nuts when its not fitted properly.

You can jack it up, and pull the front wheel off, then pull and pry at that plate. It is real light sheet metal, and will flex easily. thank u have anice day
