Pain under your armpit could be alot of things. It could be a swollen lymph node, and it definitely needs to be checked out by a doctor, to see where the infection is coming, from that is making the inflamation. It could be some form of arthritis, which causes lumps and inflamation.

Irritant such as your deodorant or from shaving, a cyst which will dissipate on its own, a sign of cancer, if it disappears soon, then don't worry, otherwise get checked.

It could be a cyst or swollen lymph node, your best bet would be to go to the doctors and get it looked at though this kind of thing is fairly common.

Pain may be due to boil in armpit, but if u feel a lump & its painfull then it may be abcess also.
