It could be either that you have been bitten by a spider or other insect or that their is not proper circulation and that could be the beginning of diabetes.

Constant pressure and poor blood circulation on particular spots on foot due to tight fitting shoes can cause black spots. Diabetes, ischemia, splinter hemmorhages, bacterial infection are some other causes.

This could be a blood blister or it could be something serious like a stasis ulcer or diabetic ulcer. You must consult with your doctor as soon as you can.

If you are a diabetic it could be very serious. A black spot on foot a lot of times is a circulation problem. It could be a bruise. If it stays, see your doctor.

It could be just dirt of some kind, try showering and see if you can get it off. If not, then it must be medical and can be either a sign of hypothermia or something worse. Please go to the doctor at once because black spots are never a good thing.

A black spot on the foot may be caused by bruising, which is a blood pool under the skin. If you're diabetic have a doctor check it.

A developing callus. Feet that continue to sweat will also produce a black spot on your feet. The skin around the callus gets hard.

Most likely it is a planters wart. You will probably also have some tenderness to the area. They sell medication at the pharmacy to treat them.
