You can't go wrong with black shoes. Depending on the highlights in the dress you can go with eith silver or gold and match your accessories with the shoes. You can do red, but they need to be the exact same shade of red otherwise you have a disaster.

Black is generally the safest option but depending on the shade and accessories you are wearing, if you are having a different colour try and match them with your bag/jewelry/detailing on the dress etc

Obviously, red, but you have to be careful to match the color of the dress as closely as possible. The more conflicting the shade of red, the more it will clash. Black shoes work well, especially with shorter dresses, and white works also. Some shades of brown can compliment very deep, rich shades of red.

Gold, it's the hottest color to go with a red dress and you need to have a hot tan which is just gonna make you pop! Black shoes just makes it formal appropriate for a black-tie event

Black shoes work well with red. You could also wear red shoes if the two reds don't clash with each other, or sandals in a metallic silver or gold.

When choosing a shoe to go with the dress think of the occasion, a black shoe will go will if it is a casual setting, a silver or gold shoe will be better for less casual setting, and of course if you can find the same shade red thats better.

The obvious answer would be red shoes. But you can wear other neutral colors as well like black or beige. You can also consider metallic shoes like gold and silver.

Red shoes would work, but they would really have to match the color of the dress, so the more safe option is black - you cant go wrong with that.
