Sores on the scalp can be caused by dry skin or an allergic reaction. If a skin reaches a certain level of dryness, it can become easily damaged. This can cause inflammation.

One cause of sores on the scalp could be eczema, this gives inflammation and blisters which ooze and are very itchy and can often cause you to scratch till you bleed. If it is sudden it could be shingles which causes a tingling/burning sensation then you get a rash which breaks out into sores.

You could have ringworm, which is a fungal infection you can get on many parts of your body including the scalp. Other things that can cause sores are pulling the hair too tight when braiding or putting in extensions, scratching your scalp too hard when shampooing or brushing, and leaving chemical relaxers or perm solution on your head too long.

There are a couple of reasons that this could be happening, one of the reasons is that you simply have pimples on your scalp.
