The causes of gynecomastia in puberty is due to prolactin and female hormones in the male. it shows the slight or like female enlargement of breasts in male. many drugs are available for its cure. it has generally attributed to an imbalance of sex hormones or the tissue responsiveness to them. it is also termed as lipomastia.

Distress is a cause of this condition. Stress hormones can increase the mammary glands in a male to an abnormal degree. Also, obesity is a very common condition because of the increase in fat deposits all over one's body who is experiencing obesity.

The cause is unknown, but some health professionals believe that an imbalance of sex hormones can cause gynecomastia. Obesity is generally not a factor.
