Since the mesentary is a part of the gastrointestinal system, the fluid can originate from a rupture in an organ. It may be acid from the stomach, bile from the gall bladder, insulin in the pancreas, or blood from a vessel. Drain the fluid and repair the tear to fix.

This could be caused by cysts, or a problem with obstruction, in some cases obstructed blood flow. It is a condition that requires you see a doctor as soon as possible, it is NOT normal and indicative of a condition that needs intervention- you are undoubtedly having discomfort if not outright pain and your body is giving you serious signals.
