The albino characteristic is a genetic anomaly. It is actually a very rare trait where the rabbits skin lacks pigment cells.

Rabbits have albino traits due to genetics. Both parents are carriers for the phenotype of white hair. both parents have a heterozygous traits for albino traits (Dd). If the rabbits have 4 children 1 of the children will be albino. Its rare but some rabbits just like all animals carry the traits, but its rare to come out.
