An easy way for you to check on this is to contact the Distance Education and Training Council, which the US Career Institute claims they're accredited by. The DETC should be able to tell you if there've been any complaints about this school.

U.S. Career Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado is a for-profit distance-learning organization; there are reviews posted on-line questioning their accreditation & promises/scams. You are better off (financially) utilizing a local public community college, state university, JobCorps, or a FREE distance learning/on-line educational resource (like a public library). When selecting an educational-institution, check their accreditation(s) and what it will totally cost.

The US Career Institute out of Fort Collins, Colorado seems to be real. They are listed on the Better Business Bureau as an accredited business since 2005. There are several complaints listed but the majority have been resolved. They have a rating of A+
