Highly intelligent, the schnauzer is known as 'the dog with the human brain'. the schnauzer poodle also known as schnoodle has a very strong companionship and devotion toward their owner. They are often full of energy and love play time. like every dog these dogs require early socialization with other dogs as well as a wide range of people.

The mut breed of the Schnauzer Poodle (a.k.a. Schnoodle) is known for it's protective, yet loyal demeanor. The Schnoodle is very loyal, loving and great with children and families.

The poodle version of the schnauzer is quite lively, hearty, and playful. These dogs make great pets for families withought children. They can be somewhat fragile and therefore warrant close attention when playing, eating, etc. The temperament reflects on the poodle breed more so than it does on the schnauzer breed.

You have a mix of two VERY good dogs- smart, loving, family-oriented. They tend to have good conformation with few problems, their coats need grooming, but are relatively easy care- be careful of matting. Poodles don't require excessive exercise, but schnauzers do. Both hate to be bored, require attention and interaction, judiciously, but aren't attention hogs. VERY good with children.

They are very nice dogs. They love kids and they love quiet time with their owners. And the nicer the people are the better they are.
