Beagles are a medium sized dog when full grown. They don't get very big. You can expect your beagle to be a few feet long and a couple feet tall when fully grown. Check online for more information about what to expect with your dog's size, health issues, diet, and exercise needs.

Check with the AKC (American Kennel Club). There are two recognized sizes of beagles, up to 13 inches tall at the withers (shoulders) and between 13 and 15 inches tall. Of course, unless you have a known purebred dog, this is just a guideline.
