What can you tell me about pruning the Spanish Dagger Yucca?

I have a Spanish Dagger Yucca that needs to be pruned.

You can do an internet search and it will give you instructions on how to do it. Otherwise you never know if what you are being told is correct.

First you need to remove the plant from its container. Find a middle point or above on the trunk and saw in half. Repot the rooted end and water well.

Only prune the stry stuff that sticks out and makes it look unkept other than that the palnt doesn't need any prunning.

Go slowly and carefully with fairly small hand held clippers to start with. Do not expect to get through this without blood being drawn. Always look before moving your body to make sure there are no daggers waiting to spear you.

Spanish Dagger Yucca will turn brown where it dries out near the pruning site, so only prune it if you are sure it needs it. Prune off dead areas with a sharp sheers.
