Get a clear plastic storage box, drill holes in the top, line the bottom with a damp towel, and seal your turtle in. Keep the car 70-80 degrees. For plane travel, place this in a small cat carrier and keep it under your seat. If it will be a few days of travel, get a larger tub for nighttime swims.

By road, you can travel with them in an appropriately sized box with enough air vents. On stops, allow them to swim and feed in a seperate container.

Don't move to much as it can harm the animal. Keep the tank very stable as you move from place to place making sure not to drop it or splash anything around. The animal could get scared and or harmed in the process causing future harm to its well bing and life span.
