What can you tell me about Martin Luther vs John Calvin?

Martin Luther sought to curb the corruption in the Catholic Church, such as the selling of "indulgences", Papal forgiveness for severe sins upon payment of money. Martin Luther did not seek to create Protestantism or a new Church. John Calvin had a completely different view of salvation and sought to create a new Church.

Both associated with the Protestant Reformation, Martin Luther was a generation earlier than John Calvin. Martin Luther was born in Saxony while John Calvin was French.
