These types of health treatments are ambiguous at best, you should consult a physician before doing anything to "official" icy-hot pads are great, and fluids do as much as-the stereotype.

After the removal of a mass 5cm or less, the recovery time is usually three to four weeks. Over 5cm. will take at least six weeks. Your incision may be closed with absorbing or non-absorbing sutures. The stitches are removed after two weeks.

After lumpectomy you will be sore and pain depends on individuals. Avoid heavy lifting. If lymph nodes were removed, this could extend to weeks. The diagnosed breast cancer patients take more time to recover.

If it is a small lump that is being removed recovery time is short. Taking care of the incision site is important, cleaning and keeping it free from infection. Depending on the where the site is it may restrict movement for a few days.
