The Leica III was a screw mount, coupled rangefinder built by L. Wetzlar in early 1930's. It used differnet designations such as IIIa and IIIb and IIIc. The letters were always lower case. Some call the Leica III as the F model.

Leica cameras are probably one of the most expensive cameras to purchase. They have range definition lenses that are very high in quality. These cameras usually go for about $7,000 and up.
