In tight homes, ghosting of ceiling can be addressed by tightening the gaps and getting the insulation flat on the ceiling so that no air is blown around. Also put some insulations around.

Ghosting effect makes the ceiling to look bad. it will be showing crack and unfinished color which will spoil the look of the room. It leaves stripes at the ceiling joint.
