Blueberry hamsters, also called Blackberry hamsters, are really just a Campbell's dwarf hamster. The color of their fur is blue and black and they have a Russian background.

Blueberry hamsters are just another color variation of a hamster. Like any hamster you have to handle them gently and make them feel safe when you hold them. Make sure to feed them a high quality hamster food, and give them things to chew on.

They are of the breed Campbell's Dwarf Hamster. They are the same as your average hamster, except they have a bluish tinge to the coat. Your care and feeding will be exactly the same as any hamster, and you will have the enjoyment of having a slightly different pet! Enjoy.

Blueberry hamsters are not much different than a regular hamster. It's been told that they are more nippy, however. Otherwise, they are cared for much like any regular hamster breed.

A blueberry or blackberry hamster gets its name from their blue/blue black fur color. They are actually Campbell's Dwarf Hamster. They are more active in the daytime than the Syrian.

Blueberry hamsters are in the Russian dwarf family of hamsters. They are named as such for their bluish gray color.

Blueberry Hamster's average life span is three years. My daughter had a dwarf hamster that was small fast and never bit her.
