What can you tell me about being married and living in separate states?

I am married, yet I live in a different state than my husband.

This is never good. Someone is going to lonesome and do something stupid. You better get their pronto before its to late.

It does increase the living expenses for the family. You run the risk of having to pay income taxes on both of your incomes but for the tax rate of the state where either of you worked. You may also have to file taxes as married and separate. This can also leave you unable to use each other's health insurance.
