That they should be avoided during pregnancy. They are known to cause complications and could potentially disrupt your pregnancy. Before taking any herbs or vitimans it is important to have a discussion with your doctor. It would not be worth the problems that they can cause to you or the unborn baby.

Achillea millefolium and ipecacuanha are two herbs that assist in stopping heavy menstrual blood flow. Achillea is also known to assist in recovery of the common cold and influenza. Ipecacuanha is also known as an expectorant for those with bronchitis and has also been used for emergency treatment of accidental poisoning
