The Japanese hornet is typically larger and more aggressive than most hornets. They are found through out the United States of America. The biggest danger with them is that they are known to attack in swarms.

The Japanese hornet is most commonly found in the mountainous regions of Eastern Asia. These hornets have the most powerful sting of all wasps. The poison is lethal to those with allergic reactions, and sometimes even to those with no such reaction. Extreme caution is advised with this species.
