What can you say to her after you break up to ease her pain?

Women often say that they need honesty, but this isn't always the case. Women actually differ vastly, and different relationships call for different responses; ie, if you are dumping her because she is obese then telling her she's a fat cow is not a good idea. The best idea is to offer to call her friends over to comfort her.

It's sweet that you still care enough to want to make her feel better. Maybe initially telling her that she is awesome would be nice, but really, the best thing in the long-run is to give her some space. Don't be too nice, or she will still pine after you.

There nothing you can do or say to make her feel any better. She will have a phase where she's upset and she has to get over it herself.

Okay, there really isn't anything that can do that. Whatever you do, do not say things like, "it isn't you, It's me. " Just be honest when you decide to break-up.
