Clear liquids are the best tolerated. Soup broth, ginger ale, even jello or a little sherbet. It is important to maintain your fluid intake. Scrabbled eggs if tolerating fluids.

It is important to replace minerals and fluids that you loose. A good idea is to eat bananas, mangos and diluted orange juice. You want to avoid high fats anything with lactose, caffine and salty foods. You will want to eat many small meals rather then a couple larger ones.

Most doctors recommend soft foods like plain potatoes, crackers, ginger ale, tea, plain ice cream, chicken noodle soup is always a good choice. Stay away from any spices. Basicly take small bites and wait between bites to make sure you are up to eating. Most important is to stay hydrated.
