Dogs generally do not bite children. They are friendly animals and it is unusual they will try to bite children. But if yours does for some odd reason, right after it does you can say "Bad Dog" or hit it with a newspaper and it should stop immediately. I hope this helps you and your child.

I suggest making the children known to the dog. The dog will begin to become comfortable around the children and they will develop a bond. Ease the dog into the situation and don't pressure it. Give it affection when it wants attention and if it does come near to biting or biting a child, put it on a leash.

You can either train the dog by conventional at home methods such as purchasing and using a shock color or by using positive reinforcement. Also another good way is by sending the dog to a professional trainer. A dog that bites at children is a danger and the owner can get in a lot of trouble.

Any dog that has a tendency to bit or to want to bit, especially children, should seriously be considered gotten rid of. The best thing you can do otherwise is to keep the animal away from kids no matter what, and ensure that you are the 'pack leader'. Consider calling Cesar Milan, the Dog Whisper.
