Just be there for him, be a good listener, be supportive, and try to keep him active and involved in other things. Try planning some events to give him something to look forward to such as a sporting event, a concert, or something fun, just anything to take his mind off the girl.

The best thing you can do is be there for him. If he needs to talk, let him. If he needs distracted, do something fun that you know he likes to do. If he needs to work off some pent up energy, go to the gym with him.
